For the base model, the average paid price for a new 2015 BMW M5 is trending $6,118 below the manufacturer's MSRP. There are one available 2015 BMW M5 trim lines. The average savings for the 2015 BMW M5 Sedan is 6.37% below the MSRP.
Our MSRP Includes the Destination Fee
Why does the TrueCar manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) not match the MSRP found on most other websites? We think most sites don't truly care about price, and believe that not disclosing destination fees or shipping charges upfront creates confusion over hidden fees when at the dealership. Why else would many car manufacturer or leading research websites not include destination fee charges in the display of the MSRP until you've indicated that you want to buy that car? For us it's simple: because the destination charge is always found on the window sticker of a new car, and is a fee that generally is not negotiable, TrueCar includes the value in the calculation of the MSRP wherever it is shown as a total. The destination fee for the 2015 BMW M5 is at least $995, and can vary by region.
Car Price Negotiability
The 2015 BMW M5 has a TrueCar Price Flexibility Score of 30, which indicates a marginal amount of negotiating room with the car dealer. New car buyers should expect to get a price discounted not too far below the average paid price.
Available Manufacturer Incentives, Bonus Cash and Rebates
While there are no customer cash rebates or bonus incentives currently available for buyers of the 2015 BMW M5, up to $1,500 is being made available to car dealerships directly from the manufacturer.
When available, customer cash and dealer incentives can have a significant impact on a car buyer's ability to negotiate a great deal. If you are negotiating the purchase of a new M5 on your own, TrueCar recommends keeping all rebate and incentive information in hand until you come to an agreed purchase price for the specific M5 you want to buy.
Figuring Out the Monthly Car Payment
Using this week's average price of $89,777, new car buyers can expect to pay as low as $1,618 a month with a 20% down payment of $17,955 on a new 2015 BMW M5. This price is based on a 48 month average finance rate of 3.9%.

REVIEW BMW M5 Price Report

BMW is introducing the limited edition 30th Anniversary Edition M5 for 2015. Production of the special model will be limited to just 30 units.

BMW M5 Overview

The BMW M5 is a mid-size high-performance luxury sedan aimed at buyers looking for an athletic driving experience. BMW first launched the M5 in the United States with the 1988 model year. Since then the car has been through four generations of production, the current generation having been kicked off by the 2006 model year.
Competing models include the Jaguar XFR, Cadillac CTS-V, Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG, Porsche Panamera and Audi S6.

Styles and Pricing

BMW only makes the M5 in a single trim level that comes with 19-inch wheels, high performance tires, adaptive xenon headlights, adaptive suspension dampers, front and rear parking sensors, automatic start/stop function, sunroof, auto dimming mirrors, dual zone automatic climate control, power adjustable steering wheel, leather upholstery, power adjustable sport front seats, heated front seats, split folding rear seats, iDrive interface, navigation, voice controls, Bluetooth, rearview camera and a sound system with twelve speakers, a six-CD changer, auxiliary input jack, HD radio and an iPod/USB interface. The optional Driver Assistance package adds a blind spot warning system, lane departure warning and both side and top view cameras. The Executive package adds soft close doors, a heated steering wheel, keyless ignition and entry, powered trunk lid, ventilated and massaging front seats, four-zone automatic climate control, power rear sunshade, manual rear side sunshades, heated rear seats, head-up display, satellite radio and smartphone integration.

Stand-alone options include carbon-ceramic brakes, 20-inch wheels, rear seat entertainment system, night vision camera and a Bang & Olufsen premium sound system with twelve speakers.
An M5 comes with a factory invoice of about $86,000 for a base model and an MSRP of about $93,000. And you can rest knowing that shopping at your Certified Dealer means you don’t have to endure the usual hassle while you also enjoy an upfront price and guaranteed savings, all because you are a member.

Powertrain

The BMW M5 is powered by a twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 that pumps out 560 horsepower and 501 pound-feet of torque. Rear-wheel-drive and a seven-speed, dual-clutch automated manual transmission come as standard equipment. A six-speed manual transmission is available as an option at no cost.

Interior Style and Features

The interior of the BMW M5 is overall simplistic with few controls and gauges on the dash and elsewhere. Combined with the extensive yet conservative choices in seat colors and interior trim pieces, some might find the interior to be too bland or boring. Some drivers have expressed frustration with the iDrive system and controller, complaining that the system is too difficult to use. But with some practice with the car in park, the iDrive system and controller become fairly easy to use.
The front seats can be adjusted in 16 different ways and are large and supportive enough to accommodate a variety of body types and sizes. The seats’ side bolsters are large enough to keep the driver and front passenger firmly planted in their seats. The front occupants enjoy plenty of room. Even more surprising is that the rear seat area is large enough to accommodate up to two full-grown adults, which is a rarity in a high-performance vehicle. The trunk’s space totals 14 cubic feet, which can accommodate a fair amount of luggage or other items. Of course the rear seatbacks fold down, allowing larger items to be loaded into the car’s cargo area.

Overall Assessment

The BMW M5 is a brutal yet graceful high-performance sedan. The car’s interior is fairly luxurious and quiet, even when cruising down the highway. Plenty of creature comforts can be had for occupants in the front and rear seats. But when driven hard the M5 hits hard back, providing blistering acceleration and handling dynamics that put to shame some sports cars. The car is large and heavy, which makes it a great vehicle for traveling on the open road. Despite its size, drivers who are used to smaller vehicles can reasonably control the M5 in most situations. Top competitor vehicles include the Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG, Jaguar XFR and Porsche Panamera.
